Just another day in the salt pit

Another day has come and gone. its 40 degrees and a buddy is trying to quit smoking... needless to say the atmosphere is tense. there is a Fc waiting on a water pump, tracker waiting on a pilot bearing, mr2 waiting on exhaust flanges... and the drift 240 still waiting on a gear box... its alot of hurry up and wait. its sometimes easy to over focus and forget to enjoy the simple things. food for thought.

Starlet on Street Fins

Its hard to think of words to describe Street Fins. I have always been the "hellafunctional" type, however I just could not pass these wheels up. They poped up on the net on a Saturday and I drove to get them the following Sunday. Just for funzies, I took my 74 bug. (my first mistake:)

What was suppose to be a 3 hour tour turned into a Rain,Fog,Sleet,Snow,Flat... Well, you get the idea. Around midnight I was stranded on the side of the road waiting for a spare tire. I looked in my back seat at those wheels and wondered if they were worth the trouble? Hindsight is always 20/20 and I can say they were worth the trip :)

350z

Another day has come and gone. We are preparing for a fun weekend. Dillon's street machine is coming in for a helical lsd. Ill be sure to grab some shots of the process. Not really sure if ill capture every step or just the major ones. We shall see... On a side note, I really need someone to sit down and help me with some layout issues.. The blog is mobile friendly but not just right yet.

A trick 350z vert dropped by the other day. It was just begging for a high res shot.

Toylet

Hello there Interweb! of all the things to do on a Tuesday night, Im here at my computer tapping away at the keys trying desperately hard to stay awake and focused. The latter being the real challenge >.< Ahaemmm.... This is a blog to document the day to day happenings in my tiny shop. Hopefully you will enjoy looking at what we do half as much as we enjoy doing it and twice as much as we deserve.

the following is a picture that describes an evening of "will this work" followed closely by 3 hours of loud noises. in the end  "this" didn't work and subsequently was sent to file 13. all that is left is this single photo. enjoy and thanks again for reading. N8

Special thanks to Matt Bobbit for the picture. For those in the dark this is a Chev small block in a 86 corolla! Woot for bad ideas and free time :)
